User Guide for the SIP-T48G IP Phone74Advanced Phone FeaturesThis chapter provides operating instructions for the advanced features of the SIP-T48G IP phone.Voice MailYou can leave voice mails for someone else using the SIP-T48G IP phone. You can also listen to the voice mailsthat are stored in a voice mailbox. When receiving a new voice mail, the phone will play a warning tone. Thepower indicator LED will slow flash red, and the touch screen will prompt “n New Voice Mail(s)” (“n” indicatesthe number of unread voice messages, e.g., 4 New Voice Mail(s)) and an icon .If the voice mail pop-up message box disappears, it won’t pop up again unless the user receives a new voice mailor the user re-registers the account that has unread voice mail(s).To leave a voice mail:You can leave a voice mail for someone else when he/she is busy or inconvenient to answer the call. Follow thevoice prompt from the system server to leave a voice mail, and then hang up.To configure voice mail access codes via phone user interface:1. Tap ->Message->Set Voice Mail.2. Enter the voice mail access code (e.g., *88) in the desired account field.You can tap the IME soft key to select the proper input mode.
