Only qualified, trained service personnel should install, repair, orservice this equipment. Untrained personnel can perform basic mainte-nance functions of cleaning coils and filters and replacing filters.Observe all precautions in the literature, labels, and tags accompanyingthe equipment whenever working on air conditioning equipment. Besure to follow all other applicable safety precautions and codes includ-ing ANSI Z223.1 or CSA-B149.1- latest edition.Wear safety glasses and work gloves. Use quenching cloth and have afire extinguisher available during brazing operations.INSPECTIONAs soon as a unit is received, it should be inspected for possible dam-age during transit. If damage is evident, the extent of the damageshould be noted on the carrier’s freight bill.
