18WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONGIf the appliance fails to operate:1. If the oven does not come on, check that theprogrammer is properly set for manual operation, orthat you have programmed any automatic cookingcorrectly.2. Check that the hob cover, where present, is in thefully raised position.3. Check that it is properly plugged in.4. Check that the socket switch is turned on.5. Check that the socket is supplying power - do thisby plugging in another appliance that is known to beworking properly.6. Check that the fuse in the plug is intact.7. If the hob area does not work, check that you areturning the correct control knob.8. Check that you have manually re-set the gassupply.IF YOU SUSPECT A GAS LEAK, TURN ALLCONTROLS TO THEIR OFF POSITIONS, ANDTURN THE MAINS GAS SUPPLY OFFIMMEDIATELY.
