34If the door glass panel becomeschipped or has deep scratches theglass will be weakened and must bereplaced to prevent the possibilityof the panel shattering. Pleasecontact your local Service ForceCentre who will be pleased toadvise further.To replace the outer glass1. Holding the oven glass with both hands,gently place the locators into the holesof the brackets at the bottom of theoven door.2. Push the top of the oven glass towardsthe oven door, ensuring the screwlocation holes line up.3. Hold the glass in place with one handand insert the cross head screws intothe location holes with the other hand.Give the screws one turn to ensure theglass is secure.4. Tighten the screws positively with aPozidrive screwdriver before closing theoven door.Do not attempt to use the ovenwithout the glass being in place.To clean the inner glass doorpanelsClean the inner glass door panels using asoft cloth and hot water to which a littlewashing up liquid has been added. If theinner panel is heavily soiled, Hob Brite maybe used. Do not use abrasive cleaningmaterials on the door glass. Ensure that allparts are well rinsed and thoroughly driedbefore attempting to replace the glass.Replacing an oven light bulbThe type of bulb required is a 300°C 25 wattsmall Edison Screw.Disconnect the appliance from theelectricity supply before replacingthe bulb.Open the door and remove the shelves toenable easy access to the oven lightassembly. Insert a flat blade screwdriverbetween the oven side and glass whichcovers the bulb.Support the glass with your hand and priseout sufficiently to release the glass cover.Unscrew the bulb in an anticlockwisedirection until it is possible to remove thebulb with ease.Fit the new bulb by turning in a clockwisedirection until it is secure. Ensuring theindent to the flange is pointing to the rear ofthe oven, replace the glass by pushing itfirmly into the hole to cover the bulbassembly.Replace the shelves. Restore the electricitysupply and adjust the time of day and clockas necessary.
