19Electrical connectionBefore making the connection make sure that the energypower available in the user's house is sufficient for thenormal supply of this appliance (see rating plate), the unitis correctly connected to earth through a suitable plugand according to the installation country laws.This appliance is supplied with connection cable providedwith plug. The plug must be connected to a propersocket.The socket or the omnipolar switch used for theconnection must be easily reached with the installedappliance. The applinace is supplied with a plug. The plughas to be connected to an adequate socket.If you wish to directly connect to the mains, you have tointerpose an omnipolar switch with a minimum openingbetween contacts of 3mm, between the unit and themains, complying with the existing regulations. Theyellow/green earth wire must not be interrupted by theswitch. The brown live wire (originating from the clamp ofthe cooker junction box) must always be connected tothe phase of the mains supply. In any case, the supplycord must be positioned in such a way as it doesn'treach in any point a temperature higher than 90°C.Replacement of the supply cableShould the supply cord need to be replaced, choose onlycable types from the following:H07 RN-F, H05 RN-F, H05RR-F, H05 VV-F, H05 V2V2-F (T90), H05 BB-F (section:3 x 1 mm2).
