16The appliance is designed to beconnected to 230 V monophaseelectricity supply. The connection must be carried outin compliance with the laws andregulations in force. Before the appliance is connected:1) check that the main fuse and thedomestic installation can support theload (see the rating label);2) check that the power supply isproperly earthed in compliance with thecurrent rules;3) check the socket or the doublepole switch used for the electricalconnection can be easily reached withthe appliance built in the forniture unit. The appliance is supplied with aconnection cable. This has to beprovided with a proper plug, able tosupport the load marked on theidentification plate. The plug has to befitted in a proper socket. If connecting the appliance directlyto the electric system, it is necessarythat you install a double pole switchbetween the appliance and theelectricity supply, with a minimum gapof 3 mm. between the switch contactsand of a type suitable for the requiredload in compliance with the currentrules. The connection cable has to beplaced in order that, in each part, itcannot reach a temperature 50°Chigher than room temperature. The brown coloured phase cable(fitted in the terminal block contactmarked with "L") must always beconnected to the network phase.Electrical connectionRemplacement of the voltagecableThe connection of the voltage cableto the appliance's terminal block is oftype "Y". This means that itsreplacement requires the specificequipment of a technician. In this case, only cable type H05V2V2-F T90 mustbe used. The cable section must besuitable to the voltage and the workingtemperature. The yellow/green earthwire must be approximately 2 cm.longer than the phase wires (Fig. 3-a).To open the terminal block andreach the terminals, proceed as follows:• insert the point of a screwdriverinto the visible protrunding part of theterminal block;• exert a light pressure and lift (Fig.3-b).Earth(yellow/green))NeutralFig. 3-aFig. 3-b
