16Electrical connectionThe electrical connection of the hob must be carriedout by qualified persons. Protection against acciden-tal contact must be guaranteed through the appli-ance being installed in accordance with theregulations.The appliance must be disconnected from the mainsduring installation.Ensure that the output of the electrical system is suf-ficient and that the electrical cables are in good con-dition, as well as being suitable for the currentintensity required for the cooking field. Allowancemust be made here for the other connected electricalappliances.The appliance must be earthed in accordance withthe regulations of the standard NF.C 15100 and thevalid regulations.We accept no liability for accidents or incidentscaused by the lack of or a defective earth.The mains cable must not be extended under anycircumstances. The mains connections (wall sock-ets) must be near to the cooking field being installed.The appliance must be disconnected from the mainswhen a qualified technician is carrying out repairs.If a crack, a rupture or a breakage can be seen onthe surface, disconnect the appliance from themains.If the mains cable has to be replaced, order it fromyour specialist dealer and have it replaced by a qual-ified electrician.Connecting the hobThe induction cooking field can be connected eithersingle-phase or double-phase.
