The wires in the mains lead arecoloured in accordance with the followingcode:A Green and Yellow: EarthC Brown: LiveD Blue: NeutralAs the colours of the wires in the mains lead ofthis appliance may not correspond with the col-oured markings identifying the terminals in yourplug, proceed as follows:1. Connect the wire coloured green and yel-low to the terminal marked either with theletter “E“ or by the earth symbol or col-oured green and yellow.2. Connect the wire coloured blue to the ter-minal either marked with the letter “N“ orcoloured black.3. Connect the wire coloured brown to theterminal either marked with the “L“ or col-oured red.4. Check that no cut, or stray strands of wireis present and the cord clamp E is secureover the outer sheath.5. Make sure the electricity supply voltage isthe same as that indicated on the appli-ance rating plate.6. Switch on the appliance.The appliance is supplied with a 13 amp plugfitted B. In the event of having to change thefuse in the plug supplied, a 13 amp ASTA ap-proved (BS 1362) fuse must be used.Warning! A cut off plug inserted into a 13amp socket is a serious safety (shock)hazard.
