3EN - 22 - For the installerThe connection for the condensation drain has anexternal diameter of 20 mm and a ledge of 21.2 mm.It is located underneath the ComfoAir.• Connect the condensation drain, via a pipe withcoupling or hose, to the water seal of the do-mestic waste-water system.For future maintenance activities thecondensation drain must be removable.• Position the upper edge of the water seal atleast 40 mm underneath the condensation drainof the ComfoAir.• Make sure that the outer end of the pipe or tubeexits below the water level.• Ensure the condensation drain pipe on ceiling-mounted units has a run-off to the siphon of atleast 2%.Ensure that the water seal connected to thedomestic waste-water system is always fullof water.Also ensure that the end of the hose is atleast 60 mm under the level of the water. Thisprevents the ComfoAir from sucking in anyleakage air.3.7 Commissioning the ComfoAirAfter installation, the ComfoAir must be commis-sioned.This can be done via the P menus on the digital op-erating device. These P menus can be used to entervarious settings (ventilation programmes, in partic-ular) for the ComfoAir.
