In general,voltage variation of +/- 10% ofnameplate utilization voltage isacceptable.Determination of operating limitsis dependent primarily uponthree factors:■■ Return air temperature■■ Water temperature■■ Ambient temperatureWhen any one of thesefactors is at minimum ormaximum levels, the other twofactors should be at normallevels to ensure proper unitoperation. Extreme variationsin temperature and humidityand/or corrosive water orair will adversely affect unitperformance, reliability, andservice life. Consult Tables 12and 13 for operating limits.Start-up conditions: Allowancesare made for a wider range ofentering air conditions duringstart-up and are shown inTable 12. Start-up conditionsare not normal or continuousoperating conditions but maybe used to bring the buildingspace up to occupancytemperatures.
