Picture-In-Picture OverviewMain Picture Picture-in-PictureYOUR PICTURE-IN-PICTURE FEATUREThe Picture-In-Picture (PIP) function allows you toput a smaller picture, called the “inset,” on thebigger screen, or the “main” picture. Don’t want tomiss any of the big game, but hate commercials?Just put the game in the inset, and surf with themain picture.2-TUNER PIP FEATURENormally, you would need some other piece ofequipment, like a VCR, to act as a tuner to receiveand display a second channel at the same time.Your Entertainment Machine eliminates that needby giving you two tuners in one TV. PIP is alwaysavailable, no matter what equipment you have.WORKING WITH PIPThis is where your MBR remote is put to the mostuse. All of the functions PIP has are accessiblethrough the menus that pop up on-screen whenyou use your remote. There’s more about that onthe following page.Just like your Entertainment Machine’s mainscreen, PIP will need a source to take its imagefrom. When you set the main screen source toAntenna/Cable 1 or 2, the PIP source will auto-matically set to that as well. You can adjustand/or request a different source through theSource selection on your remote.POSSIBLE REASONS FOR ADJUSTING PIPSOURCE1. You use a cable box to receive premium chan-nels, and have it “looped out” on the back ofthe TV. Set the PIP source to the cable boxsource, and the Inset will display the premiumchannels, which can then be swapped with themain picture.2. You want to watch a video tape, but keep scan-ning for another movie or game. Set the PIPsource to VIDEO 1, or 2 and you can watch theVCR and TV, swapping between the two.P A G E 3 8 206-3597-APicture-in-Picture is like having two TVs in one
