The pneumatic output is proportionalto the signal input, either direct or reverse acting, and features a manual override potentiometer tovary the pneumatic output. The EPW offers fourjumper selectable input timing ranges (seeordering grid below). Output pressure ranges arejumper shunt selectable for 0-10, 0-15 and 0-20psig, and adjustable in all ranges. A 0-5 VDCfeedback signal indicating the resultant branch linepressure is also provided. This signal varies linearlywith the branch pressure range selected. The EPWis a constant bleed interface with branch exhaustresponce time determinded by the bleed orificesize and pressure differentials. If power fails to theEPW, it will continure to bleed through the bleedorifice until branch pressure is zero psig.MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONSCircuit board may be mounted in any position. Ifcircuit board slides out of snap track, anon-conductive “stop” may be required. Use onlyfingers to remove board from snap track. Slideout of snap track or push against side of snaptrack and lift that side of the circuit board toremove. Do not flex board or use tools.WIRING INSTRUCTIONSPRECAUTIONS• Remove power before wiring. Neverconnect or disconnect wiring with powerapplied.• When using a shielded cable, ground theshield only at the controller end. Groundingboth ends can cause a ground loop.• It is recommended you use an isolatedUL-listed class 2 transformer when poweringthe unit with 24 VAC. Failure to wire thedevices with the correct polarity whensharing transformers may result in damageto any device powered by the sharedtransformer.• If the 24 VDC or 24VAC power is shared withdevices that have coils such as relays, solenoids, or other inductors, each coil musthave an MOV, DC/AC Transorb, TransientVoltage Suppressor (ACI Part: 142583), ordiode placed across the coil or inductor.
