17.1. System check - References17.1.1. Typical impedance (Z) valuesThe following table indicates typical impedance values in ohms ford&b loudspeakers. With correct measurement conditions andrelatively short cables, measured impedances should be within arange of ±20 % of the values indicated in the table.The values refer to a single cabinet. When two cabinets areconnected in parallel, the total impedance is halved, with threecabinets it will be a third and so on.Note: Please note that the LF values were determined by theamplifiers' measurement algorithms using sine wave signals. ADC resistance measurement using a multimeter may producedifferent results.10D/30D amplifiers apply audible low level signals in theLow frequency range for a few seconds using dedicatedfrequencies for each cabinet type. This reduces the impact ofambient temperature and mechanical aging of the drivercomponents on the impedance values..System Z LF Z HF Z MF/LF rear/side16C 7.5 12 -24C 12 11 -24C/CE 7 11 -10AL/10AL-D 17 13 -10S/S-D/A/A-D 17 13 -12S/S-D 7 11 -12S-SUB 8 - -24S 3 16 -24S-D 3 16 -18S/A-SUB 6.5 - -21S-SUB 4.5 - -27S/A-SUB 5 - -4S 17 11 -5S 16 11 -8S 10 15 -B1-SUB 4.5 - -B2-SUB 3.5 - -B22-SUB 3.5 - -B4-SUB 5 - -B6-SUB 6.5 - -C3 8.5 4 -C4-TOP 11 12 -C4-SUB 6.5 - -C6/690 9 15 -C7-TOP 7 8 -17.
