In this mode,you can also parallel 2 or even 3 pairs of4Ω speakers.By flicking the switch towards the rearpanel direction, you set the Hi, defaultmode, for 4Ω and 8Ω speakers. This isthe most often used configuration.The darTZeel NHB-108 model one being atrue dual mono design, you can also useit to biamplify hybrid loudspeakers (hav-ing different technology and impedancedrivers, i.e. an 8Ω woofer and a 2Ωtweeter) by switching one channel to Hiand the other one to Lo, respectively.Please bear in mind that in this case, youwill need two darTZeel NHB-108, one foreach loudspeaker.Once you have chosen your configura-tion, you can carefully put the glasscover back, and screw it on again as fol-lows:Freely hand screw until you feel thethread-end resistance. Then use thesupplied screwdriver and turn an extra1/8 turn approximately. The screw mustbe sufficiently tightened to prevent thepossibility of the glass rotating aroundthe screw axis.Then reconnect all the wires and cables,paying special attention to the loud-speaker cables. They must be hooked tothe Speaker Terminals (7) before poweringthe amplifier ON.Now just sit back and relax, and im-merse yourself in pure musical pleasure!6. Maintenance6.1. Fuse(s) replacementThe following procedure concerns the leftchannel. For the right channel, the pro-cedure is the same but that the fuse is ina mirror image configuration.If one ñ or both ñ fuse(s) has/haveblown, first try to determine the cause.The Crowbar circuit installed in thedarTZeel NHB-108 model one causes fusesto melt when an abnormal situation isdetected.For more information about this topic,please refer to the Audiophile's technicalmanual.If a newly replaced fuse immediatelymelts when you power on your darTZeelNHB-108 model one, even though yourspeakers are correctly connected to theSpeakers Terminals (7), unplug the ACmains and contact us directly:troubles@dartzeel.comHereunder is the procedure:In order to change a fuse, power off yourdarTZeel NHB-108 model one by pressingthe Power Nose (3) button.!!! UNPLUG THE AC CORD FROM MAINS,and wait for 5 minutes !!!Remove all the input and output connec-tions.Remove the single central screw locatedon the top smoked glass cover. Take thetwo supplied suction grips, slightly wetthem in order to provide strong vacuum,and firmly apply them on the coverglass, as indicated in Fig.1Please be careful when removing the topcover, since it is of real glass, not Plexi-glasTM.
