DeCrane Aerospace Audio International TSC-9104-101-x Installation & Operation ManualDocument # 540364, Rev IR, 02/2008 Page 8 of 153.5 Physical Characteristics3.5.1 Refer to Section 6.0 for unit dimensions.3.5.2 Chassis material is 6061-T6 and 5052H32 aluminum with blackpowder coat finish.3.5.3 An optional cover bezel, which includes a mounting kit, may bepurchased for added mounting capabilities (see Section 1.4).Mounting provisions are provided via right-angle flanges attachedto each side of the monitor case. These flanges shall provide theuser with the means of mounting the unit.3.5.4 Optional front cover bezel requires 1 inch clearance above bezel forcover bezel installation.3.5.5 When mounting the unit to the aircraft’s frame, allow sufficientspace for mating connectors.3.5.6 The TSC-9104-101-x utilizes four (4) 8-32 UNF-2B two (2) eachside, maximum depth .25 inches.3.5.7 This unit is capable of installation/mounting in any orientationwhether horizontal, vertical, inverted, or at an angle.3.5.8 Unit chassis ground provided by 8-32 ground lug, see Section 7.0.3.5.9 Bonding between ground lug and airframe installation to be <1 resistance using <50 impedance cable. No surface prep isrequired due to conductive chassis finish (except front bezel).3.6 Clearance and Separation RequirementsWhen running cables, avoid sharp bends and placing cables near aircraftcontrol cables. Maintain a MINIMUM clearance of three (3) inches fromany control cable. If wiring is run parallel to combustible fluid or oxygenlines, maintain a separation of six (6) inches between the lines.
