ee3736In the case of a surface mounting, the cooker supply cable is insertedthrough the second cut-out (24) and the device e.g. is mounted on the wallbehind the cooker. Connect cooker supply cable 3-phase (16) to the connection terminals IN (18 ...22) of the power control unit. When doing so, first connect the earth conductor. Insert the connection cable (26) through the cable entry (10). Fix strain relief (25). Connect the connection cable 3-phase (26) to the connection terminals OUT(18 ... 22) of the power control unit. When doing so, first connect the earthconductor.OR: Connect cooker supply cable 1-phase (29) to the connection terminals IN(21/22/28) of the power control unit. When doing so, first connect the earthconductor. Insert the connection cable (29) through the cable entry (10). Fix strain relief (25). Connect the connection cable 1-phase (29) to the connection terminals OUT(21/22/27) of the power control unit. When doing so, first connect the earthconductor. Optional: Insert water leakage sensor into the connection socket (11) of thepower control unit (9) (see Mounting Water Leakage Sensor). Fasten casing cover (12) using the fastening screws (13) on the lowercasing. Optional: Connect external signal generator to potential-free contact (17)(Figure 6). Switch on circuit breaker again for cooker/hob.Sensor Unit - Selecting installation locationThe sensor unit can optionally be mounted on the wall above the cooker/hobor directly under the extractor hood (Figure 7). The sensor unit monitors thetemperature and use of the cooker/hob and switches off the power supply inthe event of an alarm.max.15 cmmax.15 cm55 - 65 cm(45 - 85 cm)*50 - 60 cm* In the case of installation beyond the standard height of 55 ... 65 cm, the alarm limit must beadjusted accordingly (see Setting alarm limit).Figure 7: Wall mounting (left); Installation under the extractor hood (right) Remove mounting bracket (8) carefully from the sensor unit. Insert batteries into the sensor unit.Connection to the power control unit is established automatically. If radio con-nection is successful, the sensor unit emits two acoustic signals for confirmation. Fasten mounting bracket (8) again to the sensor unit. Remove any grease and dirt from the mounting surface using the cleaningpad supplied. Attach sensor unit using adhesive strips or with the fastening material sup-plied depending on the installation mode (Figure 7).Make sure that the sensor is aligned correctly. In case of cooker widths between 70 ... 90 cm the alarm limit should be setone level lower as recommended in table 5.The sensor unit must be mounted in the middle above the cooker/hob.
