The IR port is located on the top ofyour smartphone, between the antenna and the Ringer switch, behind the small darkshield.Beaming an entry1. Select the entry or category you want to beam. If a lock appears next to theitem, it can’t be beamed.2. Open the menus .3. Select Record, and then select one of the following:• Beam: Sends an individual record.• Beam Category: Sends all entries in the current category.4. When the Beam Status dialog box appears, point the IR port on your smartphonedirectly at the IR port of the receiving device.5. Wait for the Beam Status dialog box to indicate that the transfer is completebefore you continue using your smartphone.You can store a beamedapplication on your phone,or send it to an expansioncard inserted in theexpansion card slot.Beam your business cardin two key presses: Fromthe Main View in the Phoneapplication, open themenus, and then press M.If you beam a bookmark orsaved page from the Webbrowser, it beams the URL,not the contents of thatpage.
