120 Program features Local controlThe control commands are given from the control panel keypad when the drive is inlocal control. LOC indicates local control on the panel display.The control panel always overrides the external control signal sources when used inlocal control. External controlWhen the drive is in external (remote) control, the commands are given through thestandard I/O terminals (digital and analog inputs) and/or the fieldbus interface. Inaddition, it is also possible to set the control panel as the source for the externalcontrol.External control is indicated with REM on the panel display.The user can connect the control signals to two external control locations, EXT1 orEXT2. Depending on the user selection, either one is active at a time. This functionoperates on a 2 ms time level.
