The sensor assembly or coil assembly consists of a rodwith wound conductive wire througout the length of the rod. The temperature sensor is installed on the rod as well. The coilassembly is an internal component and is installed inside the casing. The casing has the same length as the coil assembly. Aribbon cable and connector on the top of the coil assembly provide the connection to the electronics board.The sensor casing or tube is manufactured with different materials, depending on the corrosiveness of the fluid. These fluidsinclude, but are not limited to: culinary water, oils, solvents, or acids.
