ADJ Products, LLC - www.adj.com - Focus Beam LED User Manual Page 6Focus Beam LED Safety PrecautionsPOTENTIAL INTERNAL FIXTURE DAMAGE FROM EXTERNAL SOURCES OF LIGHT BEAMSExternal sources of light beams from direct sunlight, lighting moving head fixtures, and lasers, whichare focused directly towards the exterior housing and/or penetrate the front lens opening of ADJlighting fixtures, can cause severe internal damage including burning to optics, dichroic color filters,glass and metal gobos, prisms, animation wheels, frost filters, iris, shutters, motors, belts, wiring,discharge lamps, and LEDs.This issue is not specific only to ADJ lighting fixtures, it is a common issue with lighting fixturesfrom all manufacturers. Although there is no true way to fully prevent this issue from happening, theguidelines below can prevent any potential damage from occurring if followed. Contact ADJ Servicefor more details.DO NOT EXPOSE THE FIXTURE AND/OR FRONT LENS OPENING TO LIGHT BEAMS FROM DIRECTSUNLIGHT, OTHER LIGHTING MOVING HEAD FIXTURES, AND LASERS WHILE UNPACKING,INSTALLATION, USE, AND EXTENDED IDLE TIMES OUTDOORS.DO NOT FOCUS A LIGHT BEAM FROM ONE LIGHTING FIXTURE DIRECTLY TOWARDS ANOTHER.
