HOB - CARE AND CLEANINGWARNING!Refer to Safety chapters.7.1 General information• Clean the hob after each use.• Always use cookware with cleanbottom.• Scratches or dark stains on the surfacehave no effect on how the hoboperates.• Use a special cleaner applicable forthe surface of the hob.• Wash stainless steel parts with water,and then dry them with a soft cloth.7.2 Cleaning the hob• Remove immediately: melted plastic,plastic foil, sugar and food with sugar.If not, the dirt can cause damage tothe hob. Take care to avoid burns.• Remove when the hob is sufficientlycool: limescale rings, water rings, fatstains, shiny metallic discoloration.Clean the hob with a moist cloth andnon-abrasive detergent. Aftercleaning, wipe the hob dry with a softcloth.• To clean the enamelled parts, capand crown, wash them with warmsoapy water and dry them carefullybefore you put them back on.7.3 Cleaning the spark plugThis feature is obtained through aceramic ignition candle with a metalelectrode. Keep these components wellclean to prevent difficult lighting andcheck that the burner crown holes arenot obstructed.7.4 Pan supportsThe pan supports are notresistant to washing in adishwasher. They must bewashed by hand.1. Remove the pan supports to easilyclean the hob.Be very careful when youreplace the pan supportsto prevent the hob topfrom damage.2. After you clean the pan supports,make sure that they are in correctpositions.3.
