All responsibility isdisclaimed if this is not compliedwith.• the plug and socket or the multipolarswitch must be accessible afterinstallation of the appliance. When connecting to the mains with asocket:• Fit to the power cable (if without) astandardized plug, suitable for theload which is indicated on the datalabel. Connect the wires making surethey correspond as shown below, andremember that the earth wire mustbe longer than the phase wires:letter L (phase) = brown wireletter N (neutral) = blue wiresymbol (earth) = green/yellow wire• The power cable must be laid sothat no parts of it ever reach atemperature of 75 °C.• For connecting do not use, adaptersor shunts as they could cause falsecontacts resulting in hazardousoverheating. When connecting directly to the mains:• Install a multipolar switch that canwithstand the appliance load, witha minimum opening between thecontacts of 3 mm. Remember thatthe earth wire must not be cut out bythe switch.• Secure the cable in the clamp and -fit the rear panel in place.5.5 Adjustments• All seal must be replaced by thetechnician following any adjustmentor regulation.• The adjustment of the reduce rate(simmer) must be undertaken onlywith burners functioning on naturalgas while in the case of burnersfunctioning on L.P.G, the screw mustbe locked down fully (in clockwisedirection).• “Primary air adjustment” on hob gasburners is unnecessary.TapsAll gas taps are male cone type with onlyone way of passage.Adjustment of the “Reduced rate”position as follows (fig. 7):• Turn the burner on and place the knobon the “Reduced rate” position (smallflame).• Remove the knob of the tap which isattached by simply applying pressureto the rod.• Insert a small screwdriver 1 into the 2top shaft and turn the throttling screwleft or right until flame of the burneris conveniently regulated to the lowposition.• Check that the flame does not go outwhen the knob is sharply switchedfrom the “Full on” to “Reduced rate”positions.Attention! This operation can becarried out also with the front panelfitted, but if you find some difficultiesto reach the adjustment screw, remove the front panel unscrewingthe fixing screws, which are positionedin the inferior part of the same andmake to slip downwards.Gas informationTo tighten some components apply thefollowing torque forces:Aluminium pipes to burners, valves, thermostats: 15 NmThermocouples to top burners cups:3 NmThermocouples to thermostats: 4 NmPush-on connector: 20 NmInjectors: 4 Nm
