Symbol Oven function ApplicationMoist Fan Baking This function is designed to save energy duringcooking. For the cooking instructions refer to "Hintsand tips" chapter, Moist Fan Baking. The oven doorshould be closed during cooking so that the functionis not interrupted and to ensure that the oven oper‐ates with the highest energy efficiency possible.When you use this function, the temperature in thecavity may differ from the set temperature. Theheating power may be reduced. For general energysaving recommendations refer to "Energy Efficien‐cy" chapter, Energy Saving. This function was usedto comply with the energy efficiency class accordingto EN 60350-1.You can defrost food bychoosing Moist Fan Bakingfunction without setting thetemperature.9.3 Activating anddeactivating the top / mainovenIt depends on the model ifyour appliance has knobsymbols, indicators orlamps:• The indicator comes onwhen the oven heats up.• The lamp comes on whenthe oven operates.• The symbol showswhether the knob controlsone of the cooking zones,the oven functions or thetemperature.1. Turn the knob for the top / main ovenfunctions to select an oven function.2. Turn the knob for the temperature toselect a temperature.3. To deactivate the oven turn the knobfor the top / main oven functions tothe off position.9.4 Activating the function:Steam BakeThis function increases humidity whilecooking.WARNING!Risk of burns and damage tothe appliance.Released humidity can cause burns:• Do not open the appliance door whenusing the function: Steam Bake.• Open the appliance door carefullyafter using the function: Steam Bake.Refer to “Hints and tips”chapter.1. Open the oven door.2. Fill the cavity embossment with tapwater.The maximum capacity of the cavityembossment is 250 ml.Fill the cavity embossment with wateronly when the oven is cold.3. Turn the function knob: Steam Bake.4. Turn the temperature knob to set atemperature.5. Put food in the appliance and closethe oven door.CAUTION!Do not refill the cavityembossment with waterduring cooking or whenthe oven is hot.6.
