7.3 Cleaning the hob• Remove immediately: melted plastic,plastic foil, sugar and food with sugar,otherwise, the dirt can cause damageto the hob. Take care to avoid burns.• Remove when the hob is sufficientlycool: limescale rings, water rings, fatstains, shiny metallic discoloration.Clean the hob with a moist cloth anda non-abrasive detergent. Aftercleaning, wipe the hob dry with a softcloth.• To clean the enamelled parts, capsand crowns, wash them with warmsoapy water and dry them carefullybefore you put them back on.7.4 Cleaning the spark plugThis feature is obtained through aceramic ignition candle with a metalelectrode. Keep these components wellclean to prevent difficult lighting andcheck that the burner crown holes arenot obstructed.7.5 Periodic maintenanceSpeak to your local Authorised ServiceCentre periodically to check theconditions of the gas supply pipe andthe pressure adjuster, if fitted.8. Make sure that the fuse isthe cause of the malfunction.If the fuse is blown againand again, contact a quali-fied electrician.Burner cap and crown areplaced incorrectly.Place the burner cap andcrown correctly.The flame extinguishes im-mediately after ignition.Thermocouple is not heatedup sufficiently.After lightning the flame,keep the knob pushed forequal or less than 10 sec-onds.The flame ring is uneven. Burner crown is blocked withfood residues.Make sure that the injector isnot blocked and the burnercrown is clean.8.2 If you cannot find asolution...If you cannot find a solution to theproblem yourself, contact your dealer oran Authorised Service Centre. Give thedata from the rating plate. Make sure,you operated the hob correctly. If not theservicing by a service technician ordealer will not be free of charge, alsoduring the warranty period.
