DAILY USEWARNING!Refer to Safety chapters.4.1 Activating anddeactivatingTouch for 1 second to activate ordeactivate the hob.4.2 Automatic Switch OffThe function deactivates the hobautomatically if:• all cooking zones are deactivated,• you do not set the heat setting afteryou activate the hob,• you spill something or put somethingon the control panel for more than 10seconds (a pan, a cloth, etc.). Anacoustic signal sounds and the hobdeactivates. Remove the object orclean the control panel.• you do not deactivate a cooking zoneor change the heat setting. Aftersome time comes on and the hobdeactivates.The relation between the heat settingand the time after which the hobdeactivates:Heat setting The hob deacti-vates after, 1 - 3 6 hours4 - 7 5 hours8 - 9 4 hours10 - 14 1.5 hour4.3 The heat settingTo set or change the heat setting:Touch the control bar at the correct heatsetting or move your finger along thecontrol bar until you reach the correctheat setting.4.4 Activating anddeactivating the outer ringsYou can adjust the surface you cook tothe dimension of the cookware.Use sensor field:To activate the outer ring: touch thesensor field. The indicator comes on.To activate more outer rings: touch thesame sensor field again. The subsequentindicator comes on.To deactivate the outer ring: touch thesensor field until the indicator goes out.When you activate the zonebut do not activate the outerring the light that comes outfrom the zone may cover theouter ring.
