OPERATION3.1 Control panel13 21 Temperature indicators LED2 FROSTMATIC3 Temperature regulator3.2 Switching onInsert the plug into the wall socket.3.3 FROSTMATIC functionYou can activate FROSTMATIC functionby pressing the FROSTMATIC button.The LED corresponding to the symbolFROSTMATIC indicator lights up.You can deactivate FROSTMATICfunction by pressing the FROSTMATICbutton again.The FROSTMATIC indicator will light off.This function stopsautomatically after 52 hours.3.4 Temperature regulationTo operate the appliance, touch thetemperature regulator button until theLED corresponding to the requiredtemperature lights up. Selection isprogressive, varying from 2 to 8°C.At first button touch actual setting LEDkeeps blinking.Any time the button is touch the settemperature is moved to 1 position .Corresponding LED will blink for a while.Touch the setting button until therequired temperature is selected. The setwill be fixedColdest setting: +2°C.Warmest setting: +8°C.A medium setting isgenerally the most suitable.However, the exact setting should bechosen keeping in mind that thetemperature inside the appliancedepends on:• room temperature• how often the door is opened• quantity of food stored• appliance location.4. DAILY USE4.1 Freezing fresh foodThe freezer compartment is suitable forfreezing fresh food and storing frozenand deep-frozen food for a long time.To freeze fresh food activate theFROSTMATIC function at least 24 hoursbefore placing the food to be frozen inthe freezer compartment.Place the fresh food to be frozen in thethird compartment.The maximum amount of food that canbe frozen in 24 hours is specified on therating plate, a label located on theinside of the appliance.www.aeg.com6
