Product and safety information12 Aastra 632deud-1586/1.0 – R3.0 – 04.2013Limited Warranty (Australia only)The benefits under the Aastra Limited Warranty below are in addition to other rightsand remedies to which you may be entitled under a law in relation to the products.In addition to all rights and remedies to which you may be entitled under the Compe-tition and Consumer Act 2010 (Commonwealth) and any other relevant legislation,Aastra warrants this product against defects and malfunctions in accordance withAastra's authorized, written functional specification relating to such products during aone (1) year period from the date of original purchase ("Warranty Period"). If there is adefect or malfunction, Aastra shall, at its option, and as the exclusive remedy underthis limited warranty, either repair or replace the product at no charge, if returnedwithin the warranty period.Repair NoticeTo the extent that the product contains user-generated data, you should be awarethat repair of the goods may result in loss of the data. Goods presented for repair maybe replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refur-bished parts may be used to repair the goods. If it is necessary to replace the productunder this limited warranty, it may be replaced with a refurbished product of the samedesign and colour.If it should become necessary to repair or replace a defective or malfunctioning prod-uct under this warranty, the provisions of this warranty shall apply to the repaired orreplaced product until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date of pick up, orthe date of shipment to you, of the repaired or replacement product, or until the endof the original warranty period, whichever is later. Proof of the original purchase dateis to be provided with all products returned for warranty repairs.ExclusionsAastra does not warrant its products to be compatible with the equipment of any par-ticular telephone company. This warranty does not extend to damage to productsresulting from improper installation or operation, alteration, accident, neglect, abuse,misuse, fire or natural causes such as storms or floods, after the product is in your pos-session.
