7Installing the batteryInsert your fingernail into the cutout between thebattery cover and the phone. Unclip the cover andlift off the battery cover.Place the battery into the battery compartment,lining up the battery connectors with those at thetop of the compartment.Align the tabs on the cover into the slots on thephone. Gently press the cover until it snaps inplace.CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY ANINCORRECT TYPE.DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.Charging the batteryFor initial use, you need to charge your smartphone for eight hours.
