Appendix D: Using the Array Configuration Utility for DOS ● 97Array Definition Block KeywordsThe array definition block always begins with the keyword Array and ends with the keywordEnd. The other required array definition keywords are Drives and Type.Array definition keywords and descriptions are listed in this table.Array KeywordArray is a required keyword, indicating the start of an array definition block. The syntax isArray=<label>, where label is an optional alphanumeric string. For example:Array=MyDataDrives KeywordDrives is a required keyword, specifying the devices to use in creating the array. There is nodefault value.A disk drive is identified by its channel number, ID (target), and LUN, separated by colons; forexample, 0:0:0 or 0:1:0. Separate multiple disk drive identifiers with commas.Prior to creating any new arrays, the ACU initializes any drives specified by the Driveskeyword. If a disk drive is specified in more than one array definition block in a script, it isinitialized only once.Caution: Any disk drive specified within the script file is initialized, which destroys anydata on that disk drive. For example:Drives=0:0:0Drives=0:0:0,0:1:0,0:2:0Keyword Required?
