AMP40311CD PLAYER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSInserting a DiscWith the label surface facing up, fully insert acompact disc into the disc slot (13) until themechanism engages and pulls the disc in.While loading, “CD READ” will appear on thedisplay. Play will automatically begin from thefirst track on the disc.NOTE: The unit is designed for play ofstandard 5” (12 cm.) compact discs only. Donot attempt to use 3” (8 cm.) CD singles inthis unit, either with or without an adaptor,as damage to the player and/or the disc mayoccur. Such damage will not be covered bythe warranty on this product.Disc Eject ButtonPress the eject button (20) to stop disc play andeject the disc. The unit will revert to radiooperation. Discs may be ejected with thevehicle ignition switch on or off. If an ejecteddisc is not removed from the disc slot within 10seconds of being ejected, the disc will be re-inserted automatically.NOTE: To prevent a disc from accidentallybeing damaged, always remove the discfrom the unit when disc play is finished.CD Play/Pause SelectorPress the 1/ button (14) to freeze discplayback. Press 1/ again to resume discplayback.Seek Up/Next TrackPress the next track >>| button (9) during discplay to select the beginning of the next track.Seek Down/Previous TrackPress the previous track |<< button (10) duringdisc play to select the beginning of the currenttrack. Press twice to select the beginning of theprevious track., Cue/Review FunctionsHigh-speed audible search to any section of thedisc can be made by the Cue and Reviewfunctions.
