When speaking about interconnectionsbetween components in a system, the term Cat-5 is used generically to indicate the use of any of theapplicable cable types.A-Net DistributorsThe D800, D800-Dante, D400, D400-Dante, as well as the legacy A-16D, and A-16D Pro A-Net Distributorsare referred to generically as A-Net Distributors. All are used to copy an A-Net digital signal and split itinto multiple copies so that devices may be connected in parallel. In a case where either the D400 or D400-Dante version of the product may be used, the text will reference the D400.
