Page 12 AXIS 262+ Installation GuideResetting to the Factory Default SettingsThis will reset all parameters, including the IP address, to the Factory Default settings andformat the hard disk drive:1. Press the Factory Setup button on the rear of the unit for 20 seconds while the unit ispowered up.2. When the Status indicator on the front panel displays steady green, which can take up to3 minutes, the AXIS 262+ has been reset to the factory default settings.3. Re-assign the IP address, using one of the methods described in this document.It is also possible to reset parameters to the original factory default settings via the Webinterface. For more information, see the online help or the user’s manual.Important!Further informationThe user’s manual is available from the Axis Web site at www.axis.com or from the AxisNetwork Video Product CD supplied with this product.Resetting the AXIS 262+ to the factory default settings will also erase all recordedvideo.
