11ELECTRONIC COMPONENTSCUSTOMER MANUAL FRONT HUB MOTOR SYSTEM4.3.3 CautionDo not disassemble the battery. The battery contains protective componentsand will internally short-circuit to avoid danger.Mishandling, such as improper disassembly, maydestroy its protective functions and cause it tooverheat, smoke, distort or burn.Do not intentionally short-circuit thebattery.do not touch or connect the plus andminus contact with metal. do not allowthe battery to come into contact withmetal elements in storage or in use. If thebattery is short-circuited, its current will bemagnified, which will cause damage andmake the battery over-heat, smoke, distort or burn.Do not heat or burn the battery.Heating or burning the battery will causethe isolated elements in the battery todissolve, the protective function to stop orthe electrode to burn or over-heat, whichin turn may cause the battery itself toover-heat, smoke, distort or burn.Avoid using the battery near a heatsource.do not use the battery near a fire or stove,or at over 60 °C, as over-heating willcause the battery to internally short-circuitand make it over-heat, smoke, distort orburn.Avoid charging near exposed flamesor in direct sunlight.doing so may cause the internalprotection function to short-circuit andlead to abnormal chemical reactions orfunctional faults, which will lead toover-heating, smoking, distortion orburning.Do not damage the battery.do not allow the battery to be gouged, forged or dropped, as this may cause it toover-heat, distort, smoke or burn, andresult in danger for the user.Do not directly weld on the battery.Any application of heat will cause theisolated elements to dissolve within thebattery which will affect its protectivefunction and life cycle, as it will over-heat,distort, smoke or burn.Do not charge directly off the powersocket or a car cigarette lighter.High voltage and amplified current willdamage the battery and reduce its lifecycle, as it will over-heat, distort, smokeor burn.
