These portssupport UTP connections up to 100 meters. The ports are IEEE 802.310BASE-T compliant.The 6E123-26 and 6E133-25 connect to Ethernet networks orworkstations through two RJ21 connectors on the front panel. Theseconnectors support 25 pair cable at lengths up to 100 meters. The portsare IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T compliant.The 6E12X-26 modules have two front panel slots (ports 25 and 26) foroptional Fast Ethernet Interface Modules to support an uplink to100 Mbps Ethernet backbones or a high speed connection to a localserver.The 6E13X-25 modules have one front panel slot for an optional HighSpeed Interface Module to provide for additional connectivity to otherhigh speed networking technologies such as ATM, WANs and FDDI.1.3.2 Full Duplex Switched EthernetEach switched Ethernet port supports full wire-speed Ethernetcommunications and can be configured to operate in Full DuplexSwitched Ethernet mode, which provides up to 20 Mbps of bandwidth.The optional Fast Ethernet Interface Modules for the 6E12X-26 can alsobe configured to operate in Full Duplex Switched Ethernet mode, whichprovides up to 200 Mbps of bandwidth.
