SeeDefensive Driving on page 9‑2 formore information on driverdistraction.To use a portable audio player,connect a 3.5 mm (1/8 in) cable tothe radio's front auxiliary input jack.When a device is connected, pressAUDIO, then press it again untilAUX is selected or press the AUXscreen button to begin playing audiofrom the device over the vehiclespeakers.For optimal sound quality, increasethe portable audio device's volumeto the loudest level.It is always best to power theportable audio device through itsown battery while playing.The vehicle may have a rearentertainment system (RSE) with asecond and third row screen. TheRSE has audio adapters to allowyou to connect auxiliary devices.The audio can be heard through thespeakers or through the wireless orwired headphones.
