Drive cautiously andcheck the tire pressures as soonas possible.Run-flat tires can be driven on withno air pressure. There is no need tostop on the side of the road tochange the tire. Continue driving;however, do not drive too far or toofast. Driving on the tire may not bepossible if there is permanentdamage. To prevent permanentdamage, keep speed below 80 km/h(50 mph). With a light load thevehicle can be driven up to 100 km(60 mi); with a moderate load 80 km(50 mi); and a heavy load 45 km(25 mi). As soon as possible,contact the nearest authorized GMor run-flat servicing facility forinspection and repair orreplacement.When driving on a deflated run-flattire, avoid potholes and other roadhazards that could damage the tireand/or wheel beyond repair. When atire has been damaged, or drivenany distance while deflated, checkwith an authorized run-flat tireservice center to determine whetherthe tire can be repaired or should bereplaced. To maintain the run-flatfeature, all replacement tires mustbe run-flat tires.To locate the nearest GM or run-flatservicing facility, call CustomerAssistance.The valve stems on run-flat tireshave sensors that are part of theTPMS. See Tire Pressure MonitorSystem 0 341. These sensorscontain batteries that are designedto last for 10 years under normaldriving conditions. See your dealerfor wheel or sensor replacement.CautionUsing liquid sealants can damagethe tire valves and tire pressuremonitor sensors in the run-flattires. This damage is not coveredby the vehicle warranty. Do notuse liquid sealants in run-flattires.Self-Sealing TiresThis vehicle may have self-sealingtires. These tires have a materialinside that can seal punctures up to6 mm (0.25 in) in the tread area.The tire may lose air pressure if thesidewall is damaged or the treadpuncture is too large. If the TirePressure Monitor System indicatesthe tire pressure is low, inspect thetire for damage and inflate it to therecommended pressure. If the tire isunable to maintain therecommended pressure, contact thenearest authorized GM servicingfacility immediately for inspectionand repair or replacement. To locatethe nearest GM servicing facility,call GM Customer Assistance.CautionDo not drive on a deflatedself-sealing tire as this coulddamage the tire. Make sure thetire is inflated to therecommended pressure or have itimmediately repaired or replaced.
