Separate the two halves of thetransmitter using a flat toolinserted into the bottom centerof the transmitter. Do not usethe key slot.3. Remove the old battery. Do notuse a metal object.4. Insert the new battery on theback housing, positive sidefacing down. Replace with aCR2032 or equivalent battery.5. Align the front and backhousing then snap thetransmitter together.Remote Vehicle StartIf equipped, this feature allows theengine to be started from outsidethe vehicle./ (Remote Vehicle Start) : Thisbutton will be on the RKEtransmitter if the vehicle has remotestart.The climate control system will usethe previous settings during aremote start. The rear windowdefogger may come on duringremote start based on cold ambientconditions.
