Releasing"1,” "2," or B before the storedpositions are reached stops therecall.If the vehicle is ON and in P (Park),press and release “1,” “2,” or B tomanually recall the previouslystored memory positions. Placingthe ignition in OFF before the storedpositions are reached stops therecall.If something has blocked the driverseat and/or power tilt andtelescoping steering column (ifequipped) while recalling a memoryposition, the recall may stop.Remove the obstruction; then pressand hold the appropriate manualcontrol for the memory item that isnot recalling for two seconds. Tryrecalling the memory position againby pressing the appropriate memorybutton. If the memory position is stillnot recalling, see your dealer forservice.Automatically Recalling MemoryPositionsThe Auto (Automatic) MemoryRecall feature automatically recallsthe current driver’s previously stored“1” or “2” position when entering thevehicle.Depending upon the Auto MemoryRecall feature enabled in the vehiclepersonalization menu, memory “1”or “2” positions are recalled in thefollowing ways:To activate the recall when On -Driver Door Open is selected in thevehicle personalization menu:. Press K on the RKE transmitterand open the driver door.. Press K on the RKE transmitterwhen the driver door isalready open.. Press the lock/unlock button onthe outside driver door handleand open the driver door. TheRKE transmitter must be presentfor the recall to activate.To activate the recall when On - AtIgnition On is selected in the vehiclepersonalization menu:. Place the ignition in ON/RUN/START.See Vehicle Personalization onpage 5-48.To stop recall movement, press oneof the memory, power mirror,or power seat controls; or press thepower tilt and telescoping steeringcolumn control (if equipped). If On -At Ignition On is selected in thevehicle personalization menu,placing the ignition in OFF alsostops the recall.If something has blocked the driverseat and/or the power tilt andtelescoping steering column whilerecalling a memory position, therecall may stop.
