Service and Maintenance. . . 294Filling the TankThe cap is behind a hinged dooron the left side of your vehicle.Because your vehicle's fuel systemis compatible with ethanol fuel,the fuel cap will be yellow with"E-85 or gasoline" printed on it.Press on the center of the rearedge of the fuel door and it willpop open.Remove the fuel filler cap byturning slowly counter-clockwise.The cap has a spring in it. If you letgo of the cap too soon, it willspring back to the right. Replace itby turning it clockwise. When youput the cap back on, continue toturn it clockwise until you hear aclicking noise.The fuel filler cap will require moreeffort to turn on the last turn whenremoving or tightening it.If the fuel cap is not installedproperly, the TIGHTEN GAS CAPmessage will appear on the DriverInformation Center display.
