Dealer Parts Support ProgramTo help dealers hold down their cost of service Canon U.S.A., Inc. hasassembled a “Parts Support Program." The dealer wholesale purchaseprice of each Network Multi-PDL Printer Board-F1 includes, at noadditional charge to the dealer, replacement parts for defective partsfound in each such unit for one year following the dealer’s installation ofthe unit.When a replacement part is required, a representative from yourdealership can contact the Warranty Control Section in Lake Success at1-516-328-5742. The Canon representative will request some essentialinformation about the service call, as well as the desired shipping methodfor the requested part.Canon U.S.A., Inc. will provide standard delivery service at nocharge; any requested upgrade in delivery service, will be charged toyour dealership.The requested part will be shipped on the same day the order wasreceived, and will be accompanied by an information kit that should beused when returning the defective part. The defective part, theinformation kit, and a service log for the copier should be returned within30 days, otherwise, your dealership will be charged the dealer cost of thepart. Damaged parts returned due to mishandling at the dealership will becharged back at “dealer cost”. Examples of mishandling include, but notlimited to, physical damage due to improper storage, inappropriate use oftools, or improper installation procedure.When calling to request a replacement part, be prepared to provide uswith the following information:• Dealer code and shipping address• The first and last name of the person receiving the part• Canon part number, description, and model• Network Multi-PDL Printer Board-F1 installation date• Network Multi-PDL Printer Board-F1 serial number (SN-xxxxxx)• Specific problem the defective part is exhibiting (including any errorcodes displayed)• Method of shipment for the replacement part.The information kit will contain:• an instruction sheet, green-tag, (with all information pre-completedduring phone conversation)• return address label
