OverviewA three-day training class at the Regional Training Centers will administercertification for the imageRUNNER 550/600. Auto certification will begiven for the imageRUNNER 550 to those students that have alreadysuccessfully completed the imageRUNNER 600 three-day training class.Certification for the Finisher-D1 and the Saddle Finisher-D2 can beachieved by successful completion of the two-day Finisher Basics course(see Training Summary, Section B below).Contact your Canon Regional Training Center, Canon On-Line, or Fax onDemand at 1-516-328-5455, for specific class schedules.Training for the imageRUNNER 550/600 will also be offered at authorizedTrain-the-Trainer dealerships.Note:The presentation material for new Train-the-Trainer programs will be inelectronic format (overheads will no longer be used). To accommodatethe electronic files, dealers will need a desktop or laptop computer and aprojection medium such as:• LCD panel for overhead projector with necessary cables.• VGA to TV converter i.e. TV Elite Pro by ADS Technologies• Computer Projector i.e. Proxima Desktop Projector 5900B. Training SummaryThe imageRUNNER 550/600 three-day training class will train students onthe following:• imageRUNNER 550/600• ADF for imageRUNNER 550/600The student will be given the imageRUNNER 600 Service Handbook(DU7-2100-000), and the ADF for the imageRUNNER 600 Service Manual(DU7-1101-000) in class.The Finisher Basics two-day training class will train students on thefollowing:• Finisher-D1• Saddle Finisher-D2The accessory that is used as a Finisher Basics training machine may vary.The student will be given the service manual for the accessory trainingmachine used in the classroom.
