49' Radio Transmission Wireless Flash ShootingWhen performing radio transmission wireless flash shooting, functionrestrictions may apply, depending on the camera used.EOS DIGITAL cameras released in and after 2012When using the flash with a camera such as the EOS-1D X, you canshoot without any restrictions on the flash mode and flash syncspeed, etc.* Although EOS REBEL T5/1200D was released after 2012, restrictions onfunctions are the same as with EOS DIGITAL cameras released up to 2011.(See the following explanation for details.)EOS cameras compatible with E-TTL and released up to 2011When using the flash with the cameras listed below, radiotransmission wireless shooting using E-TTL autoflash is notpossible. Shoot with the manual flash (p.62) or optical transmissionwireless receiver function (p.71).EOS-1Ds, EOS-1D, EOS-1V, EOS-3, EOS Elan II/Elan II E/50/50E, EOSREBEL 2000/300, EOS REBEL G/500N, EOS REBEL XS N/REBEL G II/3000N/66, EOS IX, EOS IX Lite/IX7Also, when using the flash with an EOS DIGITAL camera or EOSfilm camera released up to 2011, the following restrictions apply.1. The flash sync speed is 1 stop slower.Check the flash sync speed (X = 1/*** sec.) of your camera andshoot with a shutter speed up to 1 stop slower than the flash syncspeed (Example: When X = 1/250 sec., radio transmissionwireless shooting is possible from 1/125 sec. to 30 sec.).When you set the shutter speed 1 stop slower than the flash syncspeed, the <k> warning icon will disappear.2. High-speed sync shooting is not possible.3. Group flash is not possible (p.63).4. Modeling flash from the receiver unit (p.65) as well as remoterelease from the receiver unit (p.66) are not possible.5.
