Setting the [Communication] while the camera isconnected to the computer will cause camera and software malfunctions.O When using the EOS 5D or EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT/350D DIGITAL, the remoteshooting function and camera setting function in EOS Utility cannot be used if thecamera’s [Communication] is set to [Print/PTP].O When using the EOS 30D, the camera and EOS Utility cannot communicate if thecamera’s [Communication] is set to [LAN (WFT-E1)].O When using the EOS 20D, EOS 10D or EOS DIGITAL REBEL/300D DIGITAL, thecamera and EOS Utility cannot communicate if the camera’s [Communication] is setto [PTP].O With the EOS 10D, you must change the firmware to version 2.0.0 or later.
