About IJ Network Scanner Selector EXIf ScanGear (scanner driver) is installed, IJ Network Scanner Selector EX starts automatically to enablescanning over a network from your computer or the operation panel of your scanner. Follow the procedurebelow to change the settings so as not to start IJ Scanner Selector EX automatically.ImportantIJ Network Scanner Selector EX can be set not to start automatically; however, if IJ Network ScannerSelector EX is not running, you cannot transfer images scanned from the operation panel to acomputer over a network.1. Select System Preferences... from the Apple.2. Click Users & Groups from System, select a user name from Current User, thenselect Login Items.In Mac OS X v.10.6.x, click Accounts from System, select a user name from My Account, thenselect Login Items.3. Select Canon IJ Network Scanner Selector EX, then click -.4. Confirm that Canon IJ Network Scanner Selector EX is hid, then restart yourcomputer.ImportantEven if IJ Network Scanner Selector EX does not start automatically, you can print over a networkand scan from a computer; however, if IJ Network Scanner Selector EX is not running, you cannottransfer images scanned from the operation panel to a computer over a network.To start IJ Network Scanner Selector EX automatically again, follow either of the procedure below.Click + in the step 3.
