Connecting to a Printer96Trimming SettingsSet the paper size and page layout beforechanging the trimming settings.1 In the print settings menu ( 93),select ( , ) [TRIMMING] andpress ( ).The trimming frame appears.2 Change the size of the trimmingframe.• Move the zoom lever toward T toshrink the frame, and toward W toenlarge it. Press ( ) to change theorientation of the frame (portrait/landscape).• To cancel the trimming settings,move the zoom lever toward W untilthe trimming frame disappears.3 Move ( , ) the trimmingframe.4 After setting the trimming frame,press to return to the printmenu.NOTESAbout the color of the trimming frame:- White: No trimming settings.- Green: Recommended trimming size. (Thetrimming frame may not appear in greendepending on the image size, paper size orborders settings.)The trimming setting applies only to oneimage.The trimming setting is canceled in thefollowing cases:- When you turn off the camcorder.- When you disconnect the USB cable.- When you expand the trimming frame beyondits maximum size.- When you change the [PAPER SIZE] setting.You may not be able to set the trimmingsettings for a still image not recorded with thiscamcorder.Print OrdersFrom the still images on the memorycard, you can mark in advance theimages you want to print and set thedesired number of copies as a print order.These print order settings are compatiblewith the Digital Print Order Format(DPOF) standards and can be used forprinting on DPOF compatible printers( 92).
