164Using a Car Battery Charger (Optional)Car Battery Charger CBC-NB2 (sold separately) can be used to charge battery packsfrom an automobile’s cigarette lighter socket.Always ensure that the automobile’s engine is running when you use the carbattery charger. Use of it with the engine off may flatten the battery in someautomobiles. Always unplug the car battery charger before turning off the engine.1 With the engine running, plug the carbattery cable into the cigarette lightersocket and the battery charger.2 Insert the battery pack all the way intothe battery charger as shown.• Align the arrow on the battery pack and thearrow on the battery charger to correctly insertthe battery pack in the charger.• The charge indicator will light red while thebattery pack is charging.
