Push the viewfinder back in.Attaching the Lens Cap1. Attach the cord to the lens cap.2. Pass the grip belt through the loopon the cord.Press the buttons on the lens cap whenattaching/removing it. Hook the lens capon the grip belt while you are recording,and place it over the lens when you havefinished.Fastening the Grip BeltHold the camcorder with your righthand and adjust the belt with yourleft.Adjust the grip belt so that you can reach thezoom lever with your index finger, and thestart/stop button with your thumb.
