1311Hold the cartridge on a flat stable surface withone hand, and pull out the seal completely withthe other hand.CAUTIONIf the sealing tape is pulled out forcefully or stopped atmidpoint, toner may spill. If toner gets into your eyesor mouth, wash it away immediately and consult aphysician.NOTEWhen handling a toner cartridge, press and hold theblue buttons properly as shown in the figure. Do notset it vertically or upside-down.12Insert the cartridge in the machine as far as it willgo. Keep the guides (A), (B) on both sidesaligned with the grooves (C), (D) (triangularmark) on the machine. Please note that thesearrows are just for alignment purpose and do notrepresent the color of the toner.13Close the cartridge cover and wait for thecartridge cradle to rotate and stop, and thenopen the cover again. Allow approximately twoseconds for the cartridge cradle to rotate to thenext receptacle.The receptacles appear in this order: Yellow >Magenta > Cyan > BlacK.14Repeat steps 8 to 13 until all four toner cartridges areinstalled.NOTEIf the cartridge cover is closed during those steps andan empty cartridge receptacle does not appear, closethe cartridge cover and lower the scanning platform.When the whirring sound stops, try the procedureagain from step 3.15Close the cartridge cover and lower the scanningplatform. The LCD flashes until calibration is complete. Please allow a fewminutes for the machine to calibrate itself.ABCD14
