OutlineTo execute the service mode, installthe software (service tool) for the servicemode, which is stored in the packagedsetup disc in the computer for servicing.Note that the service mode is onlysupported on Windows OS.The system requirements for thecomputer are equivalent to those indicatedin the “User Manual”. When theprocessing speed drops due to the CPU ormemory capacity, the service mode is stillavailable.This service tool was created basedon the tool for the DR-2010C/2510C, andcan also be used with theDR-2010C/2510C.The service screen is shown below.Figure 5-201On the service screen, there arebuttons to select each specified mode.Each service mode starts from this screen.A list of the modes is show below.No. Button displayed/description1 All AdjustmentPerforms all adjustments of thefollowing No.2-4, relating to imagereading.2 Registration AdjustmentPerforms the registrationadjustment.3 Light AdjustmentPerforms fine adjustments to theshading correction value.4 Document Sensor AdjustmentFixes the initial value of the amountof light received of the documentsensor.5 Firm LoadChanges the firmware.6 AboutDisplays the version of the servicemode.7 Dcon CheckChecks operations of the hardwareinside of the machine, such as anoperation key, sensor, and motor.8 Check DeviceDisplays the internal version of thedevice.
