Using the FullRange of Features64EConcerning shooting in fluorescent lightingWhen the camera is set to [ (Easy Recording) mode or auto mode, itautomatically detects the flicker of fluorescent lighting and adjusts the shutterspeed to compensate. However, if the brightness of the LCD or viewfinder displaystarts to flicker, make sure the camera is set to the Auto recording program andselect the 1/100 shutter speed.Guidelines for shooting using high shutter speeds• When shooting with a shutter speed of 1/1000 or higher, do not shoot the sundirectly.Recommended shutter speeds when shooting:• People doing outdoor sports such asgolf or tennis• Moving cars or trains or otherrapidly moving vehicles such asroller coasters• People doing indoor sports such asbasketball1/2000 or 1/4000(or 1/8000 to freezethe action even moreclearly)1/1000, 1/500 or1/2501/100• You are unable to set the shutter speed when exposure lock is set in anyrecording program other than AUTO.
